Infrastructure WA (IWA) was established on 24 July 2019 to provide advice and assistance to the State Government on infrastructure needs and priorities for over the short, medium and long-term. One of our primary tasks is to develop a State Infrastructure Strategy that will cover a 20-year horizon and will reflect where we have been and where we are today, addressing future needs and emerging trends. The Strategy must include recommendations about significant programs or projects, or other options, intended to meet infrastructure needs and priorities over defined time periods. Options/responses may be built (e.g. physical infrastructure) and non-built solutions (e.g. policy, regulatory, governance).
Following extensive consultation on our discussion paper 'A Stronger Tomorrow - State Infrastructure Discussion Paper', Infrastructure WA has developed a draft State Infrastructure Strategy and is seeking your feedback.

We encourage your feedback on these important elements.
By providing us some details about who you are, we are better able to understand your perspective and, if you are interested, keep in contact with you as we progress the development of the final State Infrastructure Strategy.
This draft Strategy is available for public consultation from 21 July 2021 and closes midnight 15 September 2021. Late submissions cannot be accepted.
The draft Strategy can be accessed here and is recommended reading prior to completing the survey.
Infrastructure WA will be travelling the state to discuss the draft Strategy as part of its public consultation process, visiting each of Western Australia’s 10 regions. Visit our Regional Roadshow page to register for upcoming events.
